1) Access to Power Very few of us have direct access to the corporate boardrooms where men make the incredibly self-centered, money-focused decisions that are driving humanity down the path to self-destruction. But there are grandmothers who do have direct access to the men who do sit in these boardrooms.

2) Without Direct Access to Power Even if you don't have direct access to the men in positions of political or corporate power, you and your friends can locate the grandmothers who do. Your job, in this case is to bring these other women on board in our campaign to honor, respect and keep the planet in tact for future generations. 3) Veto Power Men may have power of command, but, women have veto power. But, you already know that. Well, it's time to activate the feminine veto power in collective, mutual-support format to save the lives of our grandchildren and to keep the planet in tact for future generations.

Feminine power is particularly potent when we get the younger women to join us and together, we turn off all sexual services to the men who make the decisions that are setting our grandchildren up for grief, misery, early death and environmental disaster. Let's put Grandmother Power into action!

4) Spiritual Connections The men making these decisions are either arrogant ego-atheist, or they are completely ignorant of the consequences of their actions. We say that because no one in their right mind would intentionally kill their own grandchildren. Perhaps if, in addition to pointing out the irreversible destruction they are causing, we introduced them to the three basic assumptions of life, and to the unity of everything, they might wake up.

5) Carrot and the Stick Obviously positive incentives are our main tool, however there will undoubtedly be times when the opposite approach is required. You've probably heard this famous quote:

"Hell has no furry like a woman's scorned."

In the absence of some unfortunate happening, nothing can make a man's life more miserable that the wrath of the women in his life. When the women in any " community" ^**msc1 start being "that bitch" all at once, you can expect some significant responses from the men. (See the page titled, Our Job ²) We are putting Grandmother Power into action!

6) Protest Power When one examines picketers and protester, you'll notice that most of the these people are young adults. You'll also notice an all-too-frequent Gestapo-style police reaction -- mindless men in black uniforms using teargas, clubs and guns with real or rubber bullets commonly attack the protesters, beating on them and dragging them off to jail.

Now imagine a couple hundred grandmothers engaging in the same type of protest. What police commander in his right mind is going to send his mindless robots out to club, to mace and to drag the grandmothers off to jail, particularly if several of them are in wheelchairs. Let's put Grandmother Power into action!

7) Our Experience and Expertise Collectively, we have lifetimes of incredibly creative and productive experiences. We are the elders. We are the crones, the seers, the visionaries. We have seen things the younger generation knows almost nothing about. We have also seen life from perspectives that are foreign to most of the men in power positions.

The lucky among us have been put our to pasture. The less fortunate have been thrown in the gutter or ghetto and left to die. Discounting Grandmother Power in about to go the way of the dinosaurs. We are putting Grandmother Power into action!

8) A Catalyst for Change It's not about grandmothers making the changes themselves. It's about Grandmother Power being the catalyst for change. It's not about creating a sexist or and exclusive club, either. A significant portion of the power for change will come from grandfathers, from moms and dads, from the children and from the grandchildren. Our job is to start the ball rolling.
