With the Mexican anti-drug wars in the news, we also wonder why is he continuing the failed anti-marijuana, prohibition policies ^**msc1 installed by the by Richard (I'm-not-a-crook) Nixon.

It is the major source of money for financing of terrorism. It causing seventy percent of all crime. It makes the least ethical people on the planet the wealthiest people on the planet. Created and maintains a multi-billion-dollar police state and prison system. And it's dismal failure at accomplish its publicly stated goal. This make the prohibition of drugs one of the most expensive holes in the working class people's finances.

Before the present financial meltdown, the price of marijuana was higher than the price of gold. Marijuana grows well without any nurturing in many parts of the world. Almost anybody with a few seeds and some water, and a little land, could easily grow hundreds of pounds of marijuana with a present street value of millions of dollars.

and to those who launder the billions of cash dollars that come form the drug barons?

Manipulative, corporate borrowing practices are another major problem. Using corporate stocks, the super-wealthy are silently siphoning billions of dollars out of corporations. This prevents corporations from financing health care and paying fair wages.

The basic, American economic structure has shifted from producing goods and services for profit to lending money for profit. Government deficit spending (inflation) and excessive money-lender speculation are causing the very rapid rise in the prices of gas, food, medicine and everything else.

Without a major turn around very soon, we will collapse the monetary system, tear down the middle class, and irreversibly destroy the environment. The return to economic sanity is actually quite simple. Let us show how some of the most important, required changes can be implemented.
